I am a survivor of self-harm. I started doing that stuff when I was 16 and it just because an addiction. Now I have coping skills and I dont have to do that anymore. It is still hard not to resort to that to feel better however I have grown a lot since then. Now if I am stressed I listen to music, talk to someone and if the urge is so strong I will nake sure I am not alone and if that can nto happen I will go get assessed by mental health. I want to live a more healthy life and I believe I am on my way.

I believe you are on your way too. You have some great coping skills and I'm glad you use them. This forum is one of mine, an outlet and a good way to meet new people who are into recovery. I'm glad you are here.
